This picture of the Moor Road was the fifth in the series. 
 
I began to paint the Moor Pool during the Winter lockdown as I missed it so much.
The approach to the pool is part of what makes it so special. The River Chess runs  down the road and crosses in front of the Pool building.
The area is known as Waterside. Its very marshy in places, which allows fabulous wildlife and grasses to inhabit and grow.
There are a wide variety of birds to be seen here, from ducks and moorhens, to Little Egrets if you are lucky.
The area is being looked after with sympathetic planting, such as areas of wild meadow flowers and now a line of Cherry trees.
So even when parking your car, its just glorious!
It is set in such a beautiful spot in the Chess Valley, that we feel lucky everytime we are there. Its the jewel in Cheshams crown.

If you are a pool user, they are happy for you to collect from the front desk once your order is in.
