Painted from a study one marvellous November morning as the sun was rising.
There I was, squashed in the fast lane, wedged in between the ladder and the wall, phone as low as possible to the water line.
I waited and waited. Snapped and snapped.
The sequence was wonderful.
I knew what I wanted, but would it happen?
 
And then at the last moment, when the sun was in the perfect place, peeking over the wall and pushing through the trees, a formation of Canada geese flew overhead and into the optimum position for my planned painting.
 
Two lanes down, two women were shouting at me ''DID YOU GET IT?! DID YOU GET IT?!''
It was a fab morning and Im delighted that they felt the same joy I did in that moment.
