Baroque Pearls & Sterling Silver
 
I designed this piece originally as a commission for a very lovely client as a surprise for his wife.
I don't usually lean towards making heart jewellery, but developed this idea to make it truly unique.
 
In fact, I like it so much, that I plan to make myself a version at some point.
Everyone is totally unique, as I make by hand, and dont use templates. Pearls are always unique and different, and the oxide never finishes the same, developing into different colour ways. This particular one currently has some lovely blue tones around the outside edge.
 
Blush baroque pearls, set into a handmade chain of square wire, with a comfortable length of silver belcher chain with a lobster clasp.
Hollow sterling silver heart, with linen textures, and an oxidised finish, set inside a silver flat framed heart. Completed with a blush pearl delicately dangling at its base.
 
I drill all my baroque pearls by hand. Quite the challenge.  But it means I can position them the way that I want.
 
LOVE can be worn with EVERYTHING!
Trips to the supermarket, a festival with your rock chick tshirt, on the beach, dinner, a wedding, and of course your very best frock!

Caring for your LOVE necklace.
The best way to care for your pearls is always to wear them.
If they have been unworn for a long length of time, wipe them over with a soft gentle cloth such as a clean muslin, and then wear immediatley. They will glow again after a days wear.
The silver parts are best cleaned with a silver cloth, due to the closeness of the pearls, do NOT use silver dip.
