' Satellite' Silver, 18ct Gold, Emerald & Kyanite, Pendant/Brooch

'Satellite' is a reticulated recycled silver pendant edged with square silver wire, with pieces of 18ct gold, set with emerald and kyanite cabochons. 
Satellite also has a dual purpose and a secret that only the wearer knows....
 
Satellite is a pendant that can also be worn as a brooch!

I made this brooch by recycling my scrap silver in my workshop. I get real pleasure from doing this. Starting out with a brand new piece, shape as yet undecided. How will it develop?
This piece developed with a very moon like surface, which helped me to find the name.
The moon is our only natural satellite.
 
The emerald and kyanite cabochons enhance the crater feel, whillst the 18ct gold sets it all alight.
Very tactile and very striking.
