I began to paint the Moor Pool during the Winter lockdown early 2021 as I missed it so much!
 
Then came then feeling that I wanted to paint the pool from all angles, to show all of its personality. And in all seasons, and lights.
The people that use the Moor Pool are addicted. They love this place.
Many have been going there since they were children.
Its certainly like no where else I have ever swum. The sense of community radiates through it, and everyone is very proud of it.
It is set in such a beautiful spot in the Chess Valley, that we feel lucky everytime we are there.
Its the jewel in Cheshams crown.
 
'Morning Frost' is something that almost every user of the pool, gym or tennis club has the pleasure of enjoying on their walk back to the car park. With the river Chess to the very back of the picture, just in front of the houses, the marshland to the fore. Many birds and wildlife can be seen along her. Families of ducks, Little Egrets, Moorhens etc.
And in the mornings, the frost makes it magical, almost ethereal...
We all love it so it seems!
