After a small break, this stunning sunrise happened on my first session back.
We were amazed by it. There were many local pictures of it that day all over social media.
Fellow swimmer Micky jumped out of the water to capture it. I am the swimmer in the corner....
 
It has been insanely hard to paint in watercolour. 20 practices/trials at the sky.
Watercolours do like to mix, and orange, blue and yellow do not make a nice colour when they don’t want to stay put. Or can look very false and artificial.
Much research and practice later, I thought I was going to admit defeat, but suddenly, I made a breakthrough.
It took a lot of hours to complete this painting
