This painting was inspired by one of my favourite places to walk in the wonderful rolling hills in Chesham Bois, in the Chilterns.
 
Its wonderful to watch the same landscape change all year round.
Different crops lead to different paths being created.
The depth changes. The colours change. Yellow. Brown. Green.
Ploughed, sown, harvested, sun, cloud, rain or snow. Its never not an awe inspiring view. 
 
Its wonderful looking from the top of that skyline to the bottom.
But I prefer this angle. The bottom to the top.
The roll of the hill that sweeps from the left to the right and onwards, with the swell coming towards you is just beautiful.
I suspect I will be painting this view many more times in different seasons.
